As well as coordinating the subBOX project, Charles Joel is the Business Development Manager of Machine to Machine (m2m) static solutions for BOX telematics. Charles has played pivotal roles within BOX, setting up the applications engineering team then progressing into technical sales. Key projects have included loco monitoring for Eurotunnel, generator and asset monitoring service schemes and the development of a world wide PPM monitoring tool for Bosch Rexroth called 'Trended' (www.trended.com).

Charles' background includes military aviation (Avionics), telemetry and, for the past eight years, wire-less architecture. An engineer at heart, he enjoys all the latest technologies, plus the odd gadget...or two!
